A vehicle’s tire size can also be found in the owner’s manual or on the tire label, according to Uniroyal. Depending on the vehicle, the tire label might be located on the glove box lid, driver’s side doorjamb or inside the fuel hatch. Most mid-size and full-size SUVs have a tire diameter of 16, says TheTireStore.com, an online tire retailer.
