Can you give a dog a flea bath after giving him Frontline?

Frontline Plus, which replaced the original Frontline product, should not be used with any other flea and tick medications, including flea baths, unless directed by a veterinarian. Dogs can be bathed with non-medicated shampoo 24 hours after Frontline Plus is applied.
According to the company website, Frontline Plus begins to work approximately four hours after application. It does kill fleas that are already on the dog, making flea baths unnecessary. It may initially seem like there are more fleas on the dog, because fleas that were buried in the hair rise to the top as they die. If there are fleas in the dog's bedding and around the home, they are not able to live on the dog.
