Goodyear has information on how to manage tire pressure on its website. There is no overall tire pressure guide, as tire pressure varies from vehicle to vehicle.

A manufacturer sticker on each vehicle describes how much tire pressure to use. It is located in the glove box or along the driver's side doorjamb. It is also found in the owner's manual.

Improper tire pressure can cause tread to wear prematurely. Over inflation diminishes the tread in the center, while under inflation causes the tread along the shoulders to wear. Proper inflation prevents this adverse tread wear and also increases stopping distance and improves handling and fuel economy.
