As of September 2015, a 10-year graph, more commonly called a chart, of the Dow Jones Industrial Average is available at Macrotrends. The chart uses a line to show monthly closing prices.
From October 2007 to February 2009, the Dow dropped sharply from $13,930.01 to $7,062.93, according to Macrotrends. The major catalyst for this drop was the collapse of the housing market bubble, states Stock Picks System. In October 2008, the Dow plunged 22 percent in eight trading days. However, prices recovered strongly from the low; the price in February 2013 surpassed the high from October 2007. As of September 2015, the price continued to rise to a high of $18,132.70 in February 2015.
