Can a Great Dane come in black and white?

Black and white is one of the several color and marking combinations that Great Danes can have. Other colors that Great Danes can be include blue, black, brindle, silver, fawn, white, harlequin and chocolate.

Great Danes are impressively large dogs, ranging from 28 to 34 inches in height at the shoulder. Males can weigh between 120 and 200 pounds, whereas females typically weigh between 100 and 130 pounds. Because of their large size, Great Danes typically have a shorter lifespan, averaging only about 7 to 10 years. Great Danes have pleasant temperaments and are described as being gentle and affectionate, despite having been initially bred to hunt dangerous wild boar.
