Can you iron cashmere clothing?

Cashmere clothing can be ironed on a low-heat setting. Adjust the dial on the iron to "wool" and iron the garment very carefully to avoid scorching it.

Avoid wringing out or stretching cashmere while washing it to safeguard fragile fibers. Because of its delicate nature, cashmere is prone to shrinkage and burning under the wrong conditions. For this reason, tumble-drying is not recommended, and air-drying is considered a safer alternative. After washing, hang the garment on a clean, flat surface like a table until it is dry. For long-lasting luxury, wrap a cashmere garment in tissue to protect its delicate fibers before storing it away.
