Forbes partners with the Center for College Affordability and Productivity to create this list. They rate schools using five broad categories: student satisfaction, postgraduate success, student debt, graduation rate and academic success. Readers can click on individual school profiles to get more detailed information on each institution, such as student population, total annual cost and percent admitted. Forbes uses a variety of sources to obtain their data, including RateMyProfessor, Payscale.com and the U.S. Department of Education.
