Chom 97.7 FM is an English language radio station in Quebec, Canada that broadcasts classic rock hits. Geoff Stirling created the station in 1963 as a sister station to CKGM-AM, and shortly after made it into an easy listening music station. It changed to a rock station in 1969 with an emphasis on albums, and the following year changed its brand name to Chom. The station's slogan is "The Spirit of Rock."
