How can you make Colorforms stick again?

Wash Colorforms to make them stick again. Colorforms that are dusty or grimy do not stick, nor do they stick to a dirty surface. You need a mild detergent or dish soap, a sink or container and some warm water.

1. Fill a sink or container with warm water

   Add warm water to a sink or container, and add a few drops of mild detergent or dish soap. Gently agitate to form suds.

2. Add the Colorforms to the water

   Add the Colorforms to the warm, soapy water, and swish them around gently with your hands to clean off the dirt and dust. Let the pieces soak for a few minutes.

3. Rinse in clear water

   Drain or dump the soapy water from the sink or the container, and add clean water. Swish the colorforms in the clean water to rinse. Alternatively, hold them under running water from the faucet to rinse.

4. Let the Colorforms dry

   Lay the Colorforms out on a flat surface to air dry. Do not use a towel which sheds lint to dry the Colorforms.

5. Clean the Colorform board or surface

   Use a sudsy, lint-free cloth to wipe the Colorform board or surface to clean off any dust or grime. Rinse well, and let it air dry.
