How can you make a screenshot on Galaxy Tab 2?

To take a screenshot on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, simultaneously press the Home and Power button. Alternatively, press the Screen Capture button located in the bottom left corner of the screen.

1. Open the desired screen

   Navigate to the screen you wish to capture. A screenshot may be taken of any opened screen or window.

2. Press the Screen Capture button

   In the bottom left corner of the screen, locate the Screen Capture button. This button features a square shape and a burst icon in its center. If you've downloaded the Ice Cream Sandwich update, this button is no longer available. If the Screen Capture button is unavailable, capture a screenshot by pressing the Home and Power button at the same time. When done correctly, you hear a camera shutter sound.

3. Review the screenshot

   Immediately after capturing, a basic photo editor automatically opens. From here, minor edits may be added to the screenshot. If satisfied, confirm by pressing the Save button in the upper right corner of the screen.

4. Confirm the screenshot is saved

   Navigate to the home screen, and press the Apps icon. In the subsequent window, select the Gallery icon, followed by the Screenshots icon. The most recent screenshot is displayed at the top of the list. Review the image for quality before closing.
