Can you make Turkish coffee without a Cezve?

A cezve, or the Turkish coffee pot, is an integral part of the Turkish coffee brewing process and cannot be replaced in its role as the brewer. Other tools needed to make Turkish coffee include a grinder, metal stirring spoon, good quality coffee and water.
Turkish coffee was an important part of Turkish marital tradition as the bride-to-be had to serve guests, typically her future-in-laws, with a personally brewed coffee. The leftover coffee ground in a cup of Turkish coffee is also used as part of a fortune telling tradition called the "fal." Turkish coffee used to be brewed over charcoal embers but is now typically made over a low flame on a stove.
