What coffee can you make in a latte coffeemaker?

Lattes are usually made with an espresso machine, which can be used to make a wide range of coffee drinks. An Aeropress can also be used to make both regular coffee and the espresso needed for a latte.
Most speciality coffee drinks are based on espresso. Some examples are americanos, cappuccinos, cafe lattes, frappes and mochas. In addition to lattes, an espresso machine can make any of these drinks with the addition of steamed milk, foam or the appropriate sweeteners.
Espresso machines generally cannot make a standard cup of coffee, however. An Aeropress is an option for being able to make both regular coffee and espresso for lattes.
