How can free maps of Alabama be obtained?

The "About Alabama" link on the Alabama state government website's navigation bar opens a drop-down menu that contains a "Maps" link leading to a page where a variety of free maps and travel guides can be obtained. The website enables site visitors to request mail delivery of tourism maps and guides, download driving maps, view historical maps online and download road trip apps for iOS and Android.

Some of the downloadable tourist brochures available through the Alabama state government website are Alabama Golf, Outdoor Adventures in Alabama, 100 Places to Hear Live Music and Alabama Civil War Trail. Both a downloadable brochure and an iOS and Android app are available for the Alabama Civil Rights Trail. More than a dozen contemporary state maps, detailing topics such as regional climate, agriculture, geology and economic development, can also be downloaded at no cost.
