There are places to get Montessori certified in cities across the United States; the exact locations depend on the city and state where you live. When looking for Montessori certification programs, one of the most important things to remember is that the program needs to be accredited by one of three options. These options are the American Montessori Society, Association Montessori Internationale or a training center that is recognized by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education Commission.
