Can you get partial dentures, or flippers, in the U.K.?

Partial and complete dentures are available in the United Kingdom at a cost of £222.50 on the National Health Service, as of August 2015. Partial dentures fill in the gaps left by missing teeth and are easy to remove, according to NHS Choices. They are sometimes referred to as "flippers."
Partial dentures use metal clasps to clip onto some natural teeth and remain securely in place, explains NHS Choices. The clips may come in gum or tooth-colored material, although such clips are more brittle than metal. A dentist measures the mouth and orders the partial dentures, or the patient visits a qualified clinical dental technician who provides them directly.
