What is a denture flipper?
By Forinfos - 04/09/2025 - 0 comments
A denture flipper, which is also known as flipper teeth, is a lightweight option that replaces a missing tooth on a temporary basis. This type of denture is generally also removable and is meant to only be used for a short period of time, such as a few weeks.
Wearing a denture flipper after the loss of a tooth can help with maintaining the bone around the area. The first three to four months after a tooth is removed or falls out is when bone deterioration typically is at its most drastic. A denture flipper also offers extra protection over any wounds around the tooth gap, and can help expedite healing.
