Can you take a practice CVOR test online?

The practice CVOR test is available online at Vubiz.com or by linking to it through MTO.gov, as of 2015. The CVOR practice test is multiple choice and prepares operators for the official test, which is based on the "Commercial Vehicle Operator's Safety Manual."

Operators who pass the official CVOR test receive a CVOR certificate, which is placed in the truck or bus of the driver. To receive a certificate, operators must first complete a CVOR certificate application and pay a $250 fee. Operators from Ontario are required to complete the CVOR test at a DriveTest center prior to receiving the certificate. Individuals required to pass the CVOR test will receive a notification in the mail.
