Can rabbits eat celery?

Rabbits can consume various fresh fruits and vegetables, including celery, but their main diet should consist of dried grass hay. A rabbit's digestive system processes grass and leafy greens best, and because celery is a non-leafy green, it should only be fed in moderate amounts.
Leafy vegetables like kale, romaine lettuce and parsley are suitable to feed a rabbit regularly. The best rabbit diet is a mix of dried grasses and leafy greens.
Fresh fruits and vegetables should comprise no more than 15 percent of a rabbit's diet. A good rule of thumb is to feed 1 tablespoon of celery, or any other fresh vegetable or fruit, per pound of weight of the rabbit per day.
