Hard boiled eggs may be reheated or reboiled as long as they have not sat out for more than 2 hours. The same goes for cooked eggs and food that contains eggs, which should be either reheated or refrigerated within 2 hours if the dish is not served immediately after cooking.
Cooked eggs and foods that contain eggs are ideally served right after cooking, according to the Food and Drug Administration or FDA. If the dishes are to be served buffet style, hot dishes should be kept warm and cold dishes should be kept cold. Eggs and food that contains eggs may be refrigerated immediately after cooking for later serving. Before serving, the FDA advises that the dishes be thoroughly reheated to 165 F.
