Can you replace power seat switches by yourself?

To replace a power seat switch, first remove debris from the motor or seat tracks. Next, check the switch's power and ground inputs. To do so, remove the seat trim panel at the bottom of the seat to reach the back side of the switch.

Bypass the internal power and ground inputs, and supply external power and ground to the switch. Remove the connector and the power seat switch from the trim panel. Replace it with a new one, reattach the connector, and reinstall the power seat switch. Test the new power seat switch. Wear safety glasses, latex gloves and closed shoes when replacing a power seat switch.
