Pearson’s Candy discontinued making the Seven Up Bar in 1979. The company got rid of the manufacturing equipment and sold the trademark name to the American Bottling Company, makers of 7-Up soft drink.

Pearson’s obtained the Seven Up Bar through a buy-out in 1951. The candy was a milk chocolate bar that contained seven different flavor-filled sections. Flavors changed periodically and included coconut, fudge, mint and orange jelly. Sky Bar, made by Necco, is a four-section candy bar that serves as a substitute for Seven Up Bar, according to OldTimeCandy.com. Its flavor-filled sections are made of caramel, vanilla, peanut and fudge.
