Users can upload pictures of contact dermatitis to the FirstDerm website, where a dermatologist responds with a likely diagnosis and treatment options within 24 hours, reports FirstDerm. The cost for this service is $40 as of July 2015.
Users upload two pictures to the website, instructs FirstDerm. One picture is a view 12 inches from the rash, and the other picture provides a close-up view from a distance of 3 inches. In addition to the pictures, users must provide information about the location, color and size of the rash and how long it has been present. The website also requires entry of the patient's gender, age, city and country as well as an email address.
