Can you still rent appliances with bad credit?

Most rent-to-own stores allow customers to rent appliances, even with bad credit. These stores do not technically issue credit but look at the customer's verifiable income, references and residence. The appliance does not become the property of the customer until he fulfills the contract.

Appliance rental stores offer all major appliances. Some also offer furniture and electronics. The stores write the contracts for weekly or monthly payments. If the customer decides he does not want the appliance, he calls the store to cancel the contract. The dealer picks up the rental appliance without a negative consequence on the buyer's credit report.
