Where can you find a Sun Conure talking?

A number of videos featuring the speaking ability of the sun conure are available online from bird sites such as FeatherMe and Conure Community. Despite reaching just 12 inches in length, the colorful parrot is known for its loud, shrill voice that travels up to several hundred yards.

Despite its tendency to mimic speech, the sun conure is actually a relatively poor speaker compared to other parrot species with its human laughter and short words often comprising the extent of its vocabulary. These clever birds, however, are known for their ability to perform a number of tricks in front of small and large audiences.
