You can get a SunTrust prepaid card by requesting one online at SunTrust's official website or by purchasing one at a SunTrust branch. The SunTrust Prepaid MasterCard is a secure and convenient alternative to cash, paper checks or money orders.

The card can be loaded with funds and used anywhere MasterCard is accepted, such as for online shopping and in stores. It can also be used to withdraw cash from ATMs. The card balance can be reloaded. As of 2014, withdrawals from a non-SunTrust ATM cost $2 per withdrawal, and a surcharge from the non-SunTrust institution may also be applied to the withdrawal. Cash cannot be withdrawn from international ATMs using a SunTrust prepaid card.
