Why can't you create a new folder in Windows 7?

It is possible to create a new folder in Windows 7 unless the copy of Windows has issues. A user should work with the system file checker tool to troubleshoot the issues.
In Windows 7, a user can create any number of folders and even create new folders within existing folders. One way to create a new folder is going to the location, right-clicking a blank area in the folder window, pointing to New and then clicking Folder. The user can add a name to the folder by typing the name and then pressing the Enter button on the keyboard. A faster way of creating a new folder is by pressing Ctrl, Shift and N; after this, the user only needs to name the new folder.
