Tax estimate calculators can be found on several sites including the IRS site, H&R Block and TurboTax. These calculators are all free and require minimal information, but users will need to have a rough idea of what they made for the year. If someone hasn't received their W-2s for the year yet, they can check their last pay stub from 2014 to get an estimated income.

These calculators are not promised to be exact because they do not include any previous taxes a person may owe or any deductibles or fines that might go against a person filing this year. These calculators are meant to assist someone in filing, not actually fill it in for them.
