Can you track trains in real time?

Amtrak offers a train status tracking tool from its home page. Click Check Train Status in the bottom-left corner to view a map showing Amtrak train routes in red, with the real-time location of each train indicated by a blue circle with a white arrow pointing the direction of travel.

Click on a blue circle to view details about the train it represents, including its name and number, current speed in miles per hour, and its estimated arrival time at the next station along its route. The pop-up window also shows any variations to the train's scheduled running times, and it lists additional information about scheduled and estimated arrival times.
