Most dental professionals do not recommend using super glue to repair dentures. Some of the ingredients in super glue are toxic, and they do not hold up well in wet conditions, such as those in the mouth. Super glue may also damage dentures.
Dental professionals acknowledge that patients sometimes use super glue to repair dentures, but the fix is only temporary, and the super glue can cause irritation if it comes in contact with the patient's bodily tissues. In addition, using super glue to repair dentures often causes additional damage to the dentures that is more expensive to repair. In some cases, the damage is irreparable.
