Carol Hagen Holt is the wife of NBC Nightly News anchor, Lester Holt. She is a former flight attendant and has two sons with Lester. She is a native of Seattle, Washington. As of June 2015, they have been married for about 32 years.

Carol Hagen Holt has lived and worked in San Francisco, Manhattan, Los Angeles and Chicago. Her son, Stefan Holt, is the morning news anchor at WMAQ-TV NBC5 Chicago. Lester Holt replaced Brian Williams as the anchor of NBC Nightly News after Williams was placed on leave due to a scandal involving inaccurate statements he made about several events.
