Is the Casey Anthony adoption true?

The rumor of Casey Anthony adopting a baby from Romania is not true. According to the website of the Florida Times-Union, the rumour began with a fake news story from the website Weekly World News, which is known to provide fake news stories, some as parodies and some as exaggerations.

According to Weekly World News, Anthony had planned to adopt three to four Romanian babies in order to "clean up her name" and "prove to the world she is a good mother" after all the bad publicity she received during her trial for the disappearance and later known murder of her daughter, Caylee.
