What is catalytic converter recycling?
By Forinfos - 01/05/2025 - 0 comments
Catalytic converter recycling is the process of removing valuable metals from a broken device, such as platinum, rhodium, and titanium, so they can be reused in other products. Because of the value of the minerals used in converters, recycling them can be very lucrative.
Most cities have recycling centers which can determine the value of catalytic converter components. The actual size of the catalytic converter can have little to do with the value of the minerals inside, as the smallest ones can contain more of the most valuable mineral, which is platinum; there is no firm rule to calculate how much one is worth.
