How do you change a lightbulb?

To change a lightbulb, turn off the light, remove the old bulb and replace it with a compatible new one. Be careful when handling bulbs, as they are often delicate.

1. Turn off the light

   Turn off the light, and wait for about five minutes to give the bulb time to cool if the bulb has been being used recently.

2. Remove the bulb

   If necessary, remove the lampshade or light fixture covering the bulb. Then unscrew the bulb by turning it gently counter clockwise.

3. Replace the bulb

   Install a new bulb by placing it in the socket and turning it clockwise until it's secure. Switch on the light to make sure the new bulb works properly.
