How do you find a chart for whitetail rut dates?

Websites and physical locations for a state's Department of Natural Resources often provide rutting charts, maps and other useful information on yearly rutting activity provided by state biologists. Other reliable sources to consider are sporting goods stores and magazines related to hunting or outdoor hobbies, such as Field and Stream.
Peak rut dates are easily predictable. Rutting occurs among whitetail deer when the amount of daylight wanes during autumn months. This happens at the same rate and on generally the same dates in a given area every year, so once you have a chart for a specific geographical location, it should remain accurate for every year after that.
