What is Che Guevara famous for?

Che Guevara is famous for the work that he did with Fidel Castro. They worked together to overturn the Cuban government in the 1950s.

Che Guevara was born in Argentina in 1928. Before he started to travel around South America, he spent some time studying medicine. In this experience, he was able to observe a number of things that made him convert to Marxism. Not much later, he partnered up with Fidel Castro to help overthrow the current Cuban government in the late 1950s. He took on a political post. Later, he tried to enact the same movement in Bolivia, but was killed in guerrilla warfare.
