A person can check his EBT balance online by visiting his or her state's EBT website. Every state's online EBT program can be found on the USDA.gov website.

Most states use either ACS-INC.com or JPMorgan.com for their EBT card provider, but several use a different provider. To get the most up to date location, visitors should visit the USDA.gov website first. Users need their EBT card number, date of birth and ZIP code to set up an online account, and once set up, users can view transaction history, deposits and current balance as well as the ability to report a lost or stolen card.
