Do you chill rose wine?

Rose wine should be chilled to ice cold before serving. A light, low-alcohol wine, rose wine is typically consumed in warm weather from late spring through early fall, when it is a refreshing beverage perfect for serving outdoors.
Rose wine is made by crushing red grapes and then promptly removing the juice from the skins to prevent it from becoming dark like red wines. The color of the rose wine comes from its brief contact with the skins of the grapes. Rose wines often have flavors of strawberries, cherries and raspberries, and can vary significantly from being sweet to completely dry.
