As of 2014, Chris Dailey is in her 30th season as the associate head coach for the UConn Women's Basketball Program. She coordinates Connecticut's recruiting program and assists the program's head coach Geno Auriemma.

Chris Dailey joined Connecticut's coaching team as a primary assistant coach in 1985 and made a salary of $22,000. She was promoted to associate head coach in September of 1988. As of 2014, Dailey makes a base salary of $113,000 and is considered a major asset to the coaching team due to her assistance in rejuvenating the women's basketball program. Under Dailey's direction, Connecticut welcomes players from 29 different states and six foreign countries and has won four national championships.
