How do you cite a journal article?

Citations for journal articles should include the author of the article, the title of the piece, the name of the journal in which the article was published, the date of publication and the pages on which the article appeared. Articles, such as reviews or editorials, should be noted as such.

When providing an in-text citation for the journal, put the author's last name and the relevant pages of the article inside parentheses immediately after the information taken from the source. This in-text citation allows readers to find the relevant source in the bibliography, which is located at the end of the document.
