What do you write in a journal?

Many people use journaling as a way to detail their innermost thoughts and ideas that they do not feel comfortable sharing with other people. Sometimes people just write down what they are feeling at the moment.

One popular use for journals is for the writer to look back and see how he has changed as a person over time. Some writers detail how they feel about a romantic partner or write about disagreements they have with friends. Journals can also be used to write out goals and dreams for the future.
