As of 2015, Walton's Mountain Museum is located in Schuyler, Virginia. The museum is situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is accessible via Interstates 64, 81 and 95 and U.S. Route 29 South.

The Walton's Mountain Museum opened on October 16, 1992. It displays memorabilia associated with "The Waltons" television show. Exhibits at the museum include replicas of John-Boy's Bedroom, the Waltons' kitchen and living room, and Ike Godsey's Store. The rooms are furnished in a similar fashion to the TV show's studio sets. Several original manuscripts from the TV show are also available for public viewing in a special scripts room.
