Can Delta's lost and found be accessed 24/7?

Delta's lost items report form is available 24/7 online. Passengers who have lost an item must complete the form and submit it. Delta does not provide a telephone number for passengers to call to report lost items or to check on the status of lost items.

Once a passenger submits a lost items report form, Delta sends him an email. If Delta locates an item that fits the description of an item a passenger has reported as lost, the company contacts the passenger via email or telephone to verify that the item belongs to the passenger and to arrange for its return. Delta provides telephone notification to passengers who do not have an email address only if the lost item is located.
