Clean a Bunn coffee maker by pouring 1 quart of white vinegar into the coffee maker. Make sure there is an empty brew funnel and an empty decanter in place. Keep the coffee maker plugged in, and let it sit for two hours.

After it sits for two hours, unplug the coffee maker. Remove the brew funnel and the spray head. Wipe the spray head using mild dish soap with a clean cloth. To clear the vinegar, run eight or nine decanters of cold water through the machine, and then replace the spray head and the funnel. Before brewing the first pot of coffee after cleaning, let the water in the tank come to room temperature.
