How do you clean a Jacuzzi tub?

To clean a Jacuzzi, fill the tub with warm water, and pour in a cleaning solution of liquid detergent and vinegar. Run the jets for 15 minutes. Drain the tub, refill it, and run the jets a second time. Finally, drain and scrub the inside of the tub.

1. Fill the Jacuzzi, and add a cleaning solution

   Fill the Jacuzzi with very warm water. Add 2 tablespoons of no-suds liquid detergent to 1/2 cup white distilled vinegar. Pour the solution into the tub. Don't use bleach, since it erodes Jacuzzi gaskets.

2. Run the jets

   Turn on the jets, and allow the solution to circulate for 15 minutes. Next, deactivate the jets, and drain the tub.

3. Refill the Jacuzzi

   Refill the Jacuzzi with cold water.

4. Activate the jets, then drain the tub

   Turn on the jets for an additional 10 minutes.

5. Drain the tub

   Turn off the jets, and fully drain the tub.

6. Clean the tub

   Using your preferred cleaning solution, scrub the bottom and sides of the Jacuzzi. Pay attention to the jets in case they release soap scum and dirt.

7. Rinse and dry

   Dry the inside of the tub with a clean cloth. Allow the jets to fully dry before using.
