How do you clean leather car seats?

Clean leather car seats using cleaners and conditioners made specifically for leather. Use mild soap and warm water to wipe down leather surfaces.

1. Remove dirt and oil

   Use warm water and a mild detergent to wipe down leather seats. Remove dirt and oil from the seat with a dampened cloth.

2. Select a leather cleaner

   Choose a manufacturer-recommended cleaner, such as Leather CPR or 3M Leather and Vinyl Restorer, for your leather application. Different types of leather require different cleaning solutions.

3. Clean the leather seat

   Test a small portion of leather before applying the cleaner to the entire seat. Apply the suggested amount of cleaner to the surface. Wipe off excess cleaner from the leather seat with a dry cloth.
