To clean a stainless-steel refrigerator, wet a microfiber cloth with warm, soapy water, rub the refrigerator in small circles to remove dirt and oils, and wipe the soapy water away with a second microfiber cloth wet with plain water. Dry the refrigerator thoroughly with a clean, unused microfiber cloth to prevent hard water marks.
- Wet a microfiber cloth with soapy water
Fill a sink with warm water. Add two drops of liquid dish soap. Wet a microfiber cloth in the sink, and wring out well. Microfiber cloths have small, soft fibers that do not scratch stainless steel.
- Rub the refrigerator to remove dirt
Rub the stainless-steel refrigerator surfaces in a gentle circular motion. Concentrate on fingerprints and soiled areas.
- Rinse the refrigerator
Take a fresh microfiber cloth, and wet it with plain warm water. Wring it out well. Run the cloth over all of the washed stainless-steel surfaces to remove any soap residue. Repeat this process until there is no more soap on the surface of the refrigerator.
- Dry the refrigerator
Dry the refrigerator with a dry microfiber cloth. Work the cloth in small circles to remove all remaining water, and polish the surface to keep hard water marks from forming.
