  1. Check the blades for tearing, fraying or cracking

  2. Clean the blades with cloth soaked with white vinegar

    3. Clean the blades and allow the vinegar to soak into the rubber. Wipe the blades with a second cloth soaked in water to remove the excess vinegar.

  3. Wipe the blades with petroleum jelly

    4. The petroleum jelly softens the rubber and allows it to work better on the windshield. Allow the petroleum jelly to air dry.

Regularly checking the blades and keeping them clean and maintained will extend their life.
