What cleaning products can you use on drip pans for your gas range?

Drip pans on a gas range can be scrubbed with a mixture of one part dish soap and one part baking soda, or with commercial oven cleaners and degreasers. Commercial cleaners should be sprayed on the drip pan and scrubbed with a soft-bristle scrubbing brush or non-abrasive pad.

To clean a drip pan with natural products, apply a paste of dish soap and baking soda to the pan surface, and allow it to dry while sealed in a storage bag. After a few hours, the mixture should be rinsed off, and remaining residue can be wiped off with a damp cloth.

When using harsh chemicals or commercial cleaners, hands should be protected with rubber gloves and a protective mask should be worn.
