What is the clock speed of i7 mobile processors?
By Forinfos - 20/03/2025 - 0 comments
There are nine Fifth Generation Core i7 Processors for mobile applications, with base clock speeds that range in frequency from 2.0 gigahertz to 2.9 gigahertz, according to Intel's website. The maximum clock speeds for these same processors range in frequency from 3.0 gigahertz to 3.8 gigahertz.
Rather than use the generic term "clock speed," Intel uses the terms Processor Base Frequency and Max Turbo Frequency. Processor Base Frequency describes the rate at which the processor's transistors open and close. Max Turbo Frequency is the maximum single core frequency at which the processor is capable of operating using Intel Turbo Boost Technology.
