How do you close apps in IOS 7?

To close an app in iOS 7, press the Home button twice quickly, wait for the phone to display a multi-task view of all open applications, locate the app that you want to close, and swipe the app preview upward. In iOS 7, the maximum number of apps that you can close at a time is three.

1. Enter multi-task view

   Press the Home button twice quickly to display the multi-task view of all open applications.

2. Locate and close the app

   Swipe to the left until you find the app you want to close. Swipe up on the app to close it. Use three fingers to swipe and close three apps at the same time.

3. Return to Home

   Double-click the Home button to return the home screen.
